Pioli makes one change in attack for Milan vs Chelsea

AC Milan will host Chelsea at San Siro, tonight at 21:00 CET. The Rossoneri will make only one change to their starting eleven.

The 2-0 victory over Juventus has brought back enthusiasm at AC Milan. Stefano Pioli will try to exploit the high morale for tonight’s AC Milan vs Chelsea. The Rossoneri were dominated in England and now find themselves in the third spot in Group E and in desperate need for a positive result.

The injury situation keeps getting worse at Milanello with Charles De Ketelaere confirmed to stay out for at least one week. For AC Milan vs Chelsea there will be no changes in the back four. Matteo Gabbia and Fikayo Tomori will form the central duo with Pierre Kalulu moved on the right and Theo Hernandez on the left. Tatarusanu on goal.

Once again Ismael Benncaer will partner with Sandro Tonali at the heart of the midfield. However, this time it will not be Tommaso Pobega to complete the department but rather Rade Krunic. The Bosnia returns to play in the starting eleven. The squad formation should transition to 4-3-2-1 during the match.

Rafael Leao is untouchable on the left wing. Brahim Diaz will be moved on the right wing rather than the attacking midfielder position. Olivier Giroud will lead the attack. The French striker failed to do anything significant in the first leg but will try to punish his former club in Italy.

AC MILAN Probable XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu, Kalulu, Gabbia, Tomori, Theo, Tonali, Bennacer, Krunic, Brahim Diaz, Leao, Giroud.

CHELSEA Probable XI (3-4-2-1): Kepa; Chalobah, T Silva, Koulibaly; James, Loftus-Cheek, Kovacic, Chilwell; Sterling, Mount, Aubameyang.
