AC Milan save €20 million from the departure of six players

AC Milan have already saved 20 million euros from the departure of six players. All this money will be reinvested on the transfer market.

MILAN NEWS – With Paolo Maldini accepting the role of technical director, and Marco Gianpaolo as coach, AC Milan is now concentrated on the transfer market. After Krunic, the Rossoneri are working on several transfer targets.

Elliot has promised Maldini a considerable transfer budget this summer plus the money from player sales will be totally reinvested in purchases. In the meanwhile, AC Milan have started to create available funds for Maldini and his team of collaborators to use on the market.

So far AC Milan has spared over 20 million euros. The departure of Leonardo, Gennaro Gattuso, Riccardo Montolivo, Jose Mauri, Andrea Bertolacci, Cristian Zapata, Ignazio Abate and Tiemoue Bakayoko has had a positive impact on the club’s budget.

Five players have already left on a free transfer while Bakayoko has returned in England. The Rossoneri have opted against his signing on a permanent transfer refusing to pay 35 million euros to Chelsea. The French midfielder arrived at San Siro on loan for 5 million euros.

Now the management has to solve the future of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Hakan Calhanoglu, Kessie and Suso. Gigio is one of the most wanted players on the market, the Turkish winger is expected to leave for Germany or England while Suso’s contract situation remains ambiguous. The Spanish right winger can leave for 40 million euros but wants to renew if he is offered the same salary as Donnarumma, 6 million euros per season.
