All Rossoneri reactions after Ludogorets-Milan

Coach Gennaro Gattuso and his players comment on yesterday’s 3-0 victory against Ludogorets in the first leg of Europa League round of 32.

Our man of the moment and author of the first goal, Patrick Cutrone, commented on the away victory in Europa League

“I am very pleased because we won a match against a very tough team. We did well, although at the start we struggled a little, but as a team, we were able to get the lead before the break. I enjoy playing next to Calhanoglu, also with Suso, I try to go where the ball goes and fortunately, I was able to score again. Today’s result is very positive, but we must remain focused because the tie is not over yet. They are a very dangerous team”.

Following the match, Jack Bonaventura also analysed the match and shred his views with Milan TV.

We were very clinical, even if Ludogorets didn’t make it easy for us. We played with intensity and we had to because they are a fast team in attack. Every time we pushed up the pitch, we created good opportunities. This was a tough match, despite the result we struggled at times. The return game will also be difficult. Now we have to focus on the league, the match game against Sampdoria is very important. We are happy because we are playing well, there is a lot of enthusiasm.

The Red and Black number 10, Hakan Calhanoglu, also commented on the win over Ludogorets in the first leg of the European tie:

The team is doing well in defence. Not to concede goals is always important. After I made the cross I didn’t see Cutrone’s header, everything happened fast, I’m happy for his goal. We have to focus on the league and continue to climb back up the table. The match against Sampdoria is very important. Coach Gattuso wants 100% in every match, including today and Sunday.

Coach Gattuso: “I am angry”

Coach Gennaro Gattuso was interviewed by Sky Sport after the 0-3 victory against Ludogorets:

I can not talk about a perfect match, we could play better but we know that in Europe it’s difficult to play, they’re strange matches. 0-3 but it is a liar result because we did not do very well, we could have done much better. However compliments to the boys I repeat I’m a bit angry, we could have done a lot better. In the first half, we could have attacked more and be more accurate but we were stuck in traffic, and because they had fast players they manage to put us in trouble. I’m angry because the attacking maneuver could be better developed.

Alessio Romagnoli spoke to Sky Sport after the match against Ludogorets:

It’s a very positive moment for us, we have to continue like this, with Gattuso we are doing a good job. We must train hard to give our best in every match. I feel great with the defense of four, I’ve always been used to playing like that, Bonucci is a phenomenon. After the first year I had some difficulties due to injuries, when I came back after surgery I was not at my best form in the summer, now I feel good and I have to continue like this because there is still room to improve“.

Ludogorets 0-3 AC Milan: Match report

It’s yet another victory for AC Milan, this time in Bulgaria against the local side of Ludogorets. Coach Gennaro Gattuso wanted a win in the first leg and he can be more than satisfied with the performance of his players.

Are there any doubts that Patrick Cutrone is the successor of Inzaghi? The talented Italian opens the scoresheet in typical Inzaghi-style with a headed and then wins a penalty in the second half. New entry Ricardo Rodriguez is accurate from the penalty spot and secures a comfortable win from the Rossoneri away from San Siro. Fabio Borin closes the match. Now it’s time to focus on Sampdoria.
