AC Milan will make a final decision regarding the transfers of Fiorentina midfielder Jordan Veretout and Stuttgart defender Ozan Kabak.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – After a fruitful journey to Madrid, Paolo Maldini and Zvonimir Boban have returned to Italy to further talks with several targets. The AC Milan management duo discussed the availability of many Real Madrid players with Merengues general director Jose Angel Sanchez. Talks will be furthered during next week.

In the meantime, the Rossoneri are about to decide what will happen to Jordan Veretout. The Fiorentina star is one of the players AC Milan are considering to enrich their midfield, alongside Barella, Sensi and Ceballos.

According to transfer market expert, Alfredo Pedulla, AC Milan have made an offer for €18 million for the 26-year-old central midfielder plus 2 million in bonuses. A total of 20 million that may not convince Fiorentina who are holding out for more than 25 million. A high figure that the Rossoneri are apparently not willing to spend on Veretout. If Fiorentina refuse the offer, Pedulla reports that Milan will pull the plug on the negotiations. Roma and Napoli are also interested in the services of Jordan Veretout.

The second transfer target on whom Milan must make a quick decision is Stuttgart defender Ozan Kabak. The 19-year-old Turkish centre-back has a release clause of €15 million that expires shortly. Stuttgart signed Kabak in January for 11 million but their relegation to second tier has triggered a clause in Kabak’s contract that allows him to leave for a modest fee considering his talent.

Stuttgart sporting director Sven Mislintat confirmed that Kabak will likely leave this summer. “There is a release clause on the player’s contract and there is a club (AC Milan) that attracts him. We need to be realistic, we don’t think he will stay with us. However, this clause obviously has limits and it is not valid forever”, he explained to Sky Sport Germany.
