Pellegatti confirms Milan first summer signing

Journalist Carlo Pellegatti confirms that Sassuolo midfielder Stefano Sensi is AC Milan’s first summer signing.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – The new Milan is taking shape. Paolo Maldini has completed the arrival of Marco Giampaolo on the bench and is thinking now about the transfer market. His only issue to solve before concentrating 100% on signings and sales is the name of the new sporting director but that will be solved this week too.

Leonardo was working on several tracks before he resigned. The Brazilian sporting director had reportedly agreed the transfer of Sassuolo star Stefano Sensi before he left the Rossoneri.

Journalist Carlo Pellegatti, a source very close to AC Milan, confirms that Stefano Sensi is AC Milan’s first summer signing. The Italy international had impressed not only Leonardo and Maldini but also has the approval of Gazidis and new coach Marco Giampaolo.

The 23-year-old Sassuolo midfielder usually plays in front of the defence, just like Pirlo, but can also act as central midfielder. The metronome is one of Serie A’s best midfielders and year over year has continued to improve. His coach, De Zerbi, recently declared that Sensi is ready to play at a top club.

Carlo Pellegatti also reveals that Juventus made a recent attempt to snatch Sensi from Milan but it was too late. Sefano Sensi is AC Milan’s first summer singing.
