His only issue to solve before concentrating 100% on signings and sales is the name of the new sporting director but that will be solved this week too.

Leonardo was working on several tracks before he resigned. The Brazilian sporting director had reportedly agreed the transfer of Sassuolo star Stefano Sensi before he left the Rossoneri.

Journalist Carlo Pellegatti, a source very close to AC Milan, confirms that Stefano Sensi is AC Milan’s first summer signing. The Italy international had impressed not only Leonardo and Maldini but also has the approval of Gazidis and new coach Marco Giampaolo.

The metronome is one of Serie A’s best midfielders and year over year has continued to improve. His coach, De Zerbi, recently declared that Sensi is ready to play at a top club.
