Paris Saint-Germain insist on signing AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. The rich French club could offer €50 million plus one player in exchange for Gigio, a reports from Tuttosport claims.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – AC Milan need to sell at least one precious piece of the current squad to put a valuable and fundamental capital gain on the books. All roads lead to Gianluigi Donnarumma, a player who grew up in the Rossoneri youth sector. According to Tuttosport, Leonardo’s transfer to France has brought Paris Saint-Germain closer to Gigio.

The rich French club, on Leo’s indication, would be willing to rely decisively on the young AC Milan goalkeeper. At this time, the main problem to overcome for PSG would be Alphonse Areola, whom the Ligue 1 club want to sell during the summer transfer window.

PSG sporting director Leonardo, who aims to significantly lower AC Milan’s economic demands for Donnarumma, would like to include the French goalkeeper in the negotiations. Nevertheless, the Rossoneri management do not want to fall below 50 million euros (a question of capital gains, we said).

The Rossoneri value Areola around €20 million, which would bring the total fee of Donnaruma’s sale to the 70 million initially requested. It would be a nice injection of money into the coffers of the club. The Rossoneri are about to close the year with a budget loss of almost 100 million. With the sale of Gigio, AC Milan would also save on his hefty salary of 6 million net per season.

Alphonse Areola was the starting goalkeeper at PSG for the last two seasons but he often had to rotate with Buffon this year. The France international has made over 100 appearances with PSG.
