Milan vs Torino, probable lineups

AC Milan will try to bounce back with a win against Torino after the disappointing defeat with Juventus.

The long unbeaten streak of AC Milan has ended against Juventus. The Rossoneri lost 3-1 but they still command Serie A and want to bounce back with a win against Torino, again to be held at San Siro. AC Milan vs Torino marks the first time Marco Giampaolo faces his old club.

Coach Stefano Pioli is facing an injury crisis and the recent problems of Hakan Calhanoglu only made things worse. The Turkish midfielder is part of the squad list for Milan vs Torino but he will very probably be on the bench. Fortunately Sandro Tonali has returned from his one match suspension.

There will be only one change in defence. After being used as central midfielder against Juventus, Davide Calabria is back on the right with Theo Hernandez on the left. Simon Kjaer seems to have recovered and will partner with captain Alessio Romagnoli at the heart of the defence.

The return of Sandro Tonali solves a big problem for Stefano Pioli. The Italian and Franck Kessie will form the dam in midfield. The absence of Bennacer, Rebic, Krunic, Saeleamaekers means Pioli is forced again to use a never before seen front four.

It will be Brahim Diaz to replace Hakan Calhanoglu in the attacking midfielder role for Milan vs Torino. Samu will play on the right with Jens Peter Hauge to be used on the left. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been called up by Pioli but once again Rafael Leao will lead the attack. Ibra may have some minutes in the second half.

AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma, Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez, Kessie, Tonali, Castillejo, Diaz, Hauge, Leao.

TORINO (3-5-2): Sirigu, Izzo, Lyanco, Bremer, Vojvoda, Lukic, Rincon, Linetty, Rodriguez, Verdi, Belotti.
