Coppa: Inter vs Milan, probable lineups

AC Milan face Inter in the Coppa Italia quarter finals. Pioli will be again with the services of several players.

It’s derby time again. AC Milan and Inter face each-other tonight in the quarter finals of Coppa Italia. The two Milanese clubs are currently leading Serie A, with just two points of difference, and aim for success in the Cup as well. Even for Inter vs Milan, Pioli will have to deal with several absences.

CALABRIA RESTS – Gigio Donnarumma is suspended for this match so it will be Ciprian Tatarusanu on goal. In defense, Alessio Romagnoli returns alongside Kjaer. Pierre Kalulu has recovered just in time. Pioli will give Davide Calabria a rest with Diogo Dalot playing on the right. Theo Hernandez will be on the left.

MEITE AGAIN – Sandro Tonali suffered a bruise in the last match against Atalanta. Thus the midfield duo will be composed by the tireless Kessie and the newcomer Meite. Meite made a bad impression against Atalanta so he need to redeem himself in Inter vs Milan.

SEMPRE IBRA – Zlatan Ibrahimovic will unquestionably be the focus point in attack, also because Mario Mandzukic has been left out because of an injury. In any case the Croatian does not have many minutes in his legs yet.

Behind the Swedish striker the supporting trio will be formed by Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao. Hauge and Rebic on the bench ready to take over in the second half while Hakan Calhanoglu has resulted still positive and will not be part of the squad.

INTER (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij; Kolarov; Darmian, Barella, Brozovic, Vidal, Perisic; Lukaku, Sanchez.

AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Dalot, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Meite, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao; Ibrahimovic.
