CM: 3 AC Milan defenders to leave in January

Three AC Milan defenders could leave the Rossoneri in January either on loan or permanent transfers.

In the last days AC Milan have been linked with a number of players. The priority of the club is to sign a new centre back while a striker could be the surprise. However, a couple of players are expected to leave the Rossoneri in January.

The first is obviously Mateo Musacchio. The Argentine defender was about to be sold to Valencia in the summer but a knee injury ruined AC Milan’s plans. He has still to make an official appearances this season and is expected to recover in the coming days.

The Rossoneri have decided not to renew Musacchio’s contract so the 30-year-old could leave for free at the end of the season. Villarreal are very interested in his services and a January transfer is highly probable with the Rossoneri willing to accept a modest fee for his sale or even le him go for free.

Andrea Conti and Pierre Kalulu will follow Musacchio’s path repots Calciomercato.com. The Italian defender has lost his spot on the right with Calabria having a great season so far. Parma tried to sign Conti on loan in the summer and remain interested. The 24 million euros signing from Atalanta needs to play continuously.

Pierre Kalulu is the surprise name on the list. The French defender joined AC Milan this summer from Lyon and had hoped for more game time. He has been regularly part of the first time but has yet to make his debut with the Rossoneri. Gaining first team experience, perhaps at another Serie A club, could be valuable to his growth.
