AC Milan about to transfer many Primavera stars

The project to build a Milan B squad was endorsed by the previous Rossoneri ownership that had started the practices to register the second team for the next Serie C championship.

However, everything fell after the end of the Chinese era and the arrival of Elliott Management as the new owners of Milan. The Americans preferred, with the backing of the new technical director Leonardo and timing considered, to focus more on the women’s section and leave aside the idea of a Milan B that should have been formed by several young Under-23 players who grew up in Milanello’s youth sector.

Milan B according to the rumors in recent months would have been coached by Marco Simone, a former Rossoneri striker who had given his approval for this special task, and would have played the home games probably in the nearby Solbiate Arno. But as Tuttosport reports the project has faded at least for this season and AC Milan finds itself with a handful of young players as redundancies of the first team to be placed elsewhere by 31 August, when the summer transfer window for the Serie C and lower leagues ends.

In these days, after the already official departures of youngsters Pobega and Guarnone, transferred on loan to Ternana and Matera respectively, AC Milan are concluding new outgoing operations. Right winger Tiago Dias seems destined to return to his homeland Portugal where he could gain more experience and playtime. Also about to depart is the Primavera captain Mattia El Hilal who is close to Chiasso.

Tomorrow should also be completed the transfers of Sinani (also close to Matera), Gabbia and former Real Madrid Sergio Sanchez. In short, there is still secondary but not easy work for the technical director Leonardo with the youngsters in question who ask for space and trust elsewhere.
