Gazzetta: AC Milan decide Andrea Conti transfer

AC Milan defender Andrea Conti will leave the Rossoneri on loan this summer in order to find more game time elsewhere.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – In the summer of 2017 AC Milan invested €24 million to sign Andrea Conti. The Italian right back was author of a fantastic season with Atalanta and one of the best in his role in Europe.

However, in his two unfortunate seasons at San Siro, Conti has made only 20 Serie A appearances. Numerous injuries have influenced the performances of the talented 25-year-old defender and now the Italian could leave the Rossoneri.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are considering the transfer of Andrea Conti on loan. The former Atalanta needs more game time and at Milan his space would be limited with Davide Calabria set to be the starting right back even this season.

Conti will very likely stay in Serie A with Parma very interested in his services. AC Milan still have faith in the Italian defender and that’s why they have excluded his transfer on a permanent deal.

Jacopo Sala has been touted as a possible replacement for Andrea Conti but no reliable source has confirmed this reports until now. The 27-year-old right back has only one year remaining in his contract with Sampdoria and is available for a low fee.
