AC Milan ask Liverpool striker on loan

AC Milan are trying to bring in a new centre forward and the Rossoneri are exploring loan possibilities.

The Rossoneri are still considering signing a back-up for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The priority remains the purchase of a central defender but Milan are ready to seize the opportunities that the market will offer.

AC Milan have been linked with moves for Odsonne Edouard and Gianluca Scamacca. Celtic asks for more than 35 million euros for their center forward while Sassuolo around 20 million. Luka Jovic has never been a realistic target as Real Madrid have invested a lot for him and don’t want to let the Serbian go on loan.

However, AC Milan are unlikely to sign a striker on a permanent transfer and are exploring loan options. According to reports the Rossoneri have made concrete steps for Divock Origi.

AC Milan contacted Liverpool to talk about the possibility of a loan move for Origi. The Belgium striker has been a valuable back-up for the Premier League champions and for this reasons coach Jurgen Klopp has rejected Milan’s approach.

Liverpool purchased Divock Origi from Lille in 2014. The 25-year-old has played for many years at Anfield but has been unable to secure a regular spot in the starting eleven.
