AC Milan offer huge pay rise to Gazidis and issue ultimatum

Since taking over at the club new owners Elliot started a revolution in the management sector. After having replaced the entire Chinese board members the American fund appointed Paolo Scaroni as president of the club but also as interim CEO. Now AC Milan are in search of a full-time CEO with Ivan Gazidis the preferred candidate.

The current CEO of Arsenal is agonising over the Rossoneri’s offer to give him a huge pay rise. The 53-year-old earns £ 2,6 million in England while the Red and Blacks have proposed a salary of 4 million euros per year. Despite the big offer Gazidis has an even bigger reason to leave Arsenal for AC Milan.

Ivan Gazidis feels that Arsenal simply do not have the budget to compete with their Premier League rivals and with the disappointing results of recent years he can be used as a scapegoat. In addition, Elliot have offered guarantees that they can put up the money required to fight against other Serie A top squads reports The Telegraph.

The Rossoneri have also issued an ultimatum to Gazidis and await a final answer by early September. However the negotiations are at the final stretch, and a positive outcome of the operation is expected soon.
