AC Milan player disappointed with Gattuso criticism

Things were not good in AC Milan’s locker room after the unprecedented defeat against Napoli with players unhappy after the harsh criticism from Gattuso.

The Rossoneri suffered a shocker defeat against Napoli after leading at the San Paolo for more than 60 minutes. A disappointing result that had a significant effect on the team’s morale when the match ended.

After the game coach Gennaro Gattuso took aim at new arrival Tiemoue Bakayoko declaring that: “Bakayoko must learn some basic things like how to receive the ball, he must learn the right position of his body“. Claims that have hurt the feelings of the Chelsea loanee Gattuso has confirmed.

In today’s press conference Rino tried to explain the situation: “Some people misunderstood what I said about Bakayoko. I noticed he was upset when I saw him in training after last match. I didn’t blame him. I never point at my players. I meant that it’s not easy to play in a new league and get used to new working methods. He needs time, that’s all. Bakayoko and this team have already improved a lot and I’m happy”.
