CorSport: AC Milan set Romagnoli price-tag

Rumors about the interest of several big clubs on the services of Alessio Romagnoli continue to grow. AC Milan could be forced to sell him this summer but not on the cheap.

AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli has become a transfer target of many clubs after some great performances with the Rossoneri in the last three seasons. Real Madrid has shortlisted the talented Italian as a possible arrival for this summer. Juventus also consider him as a long term replacement to the ageing Chiellini.

AC Milan have slapped a 60 million price-tag on the 23 year old centre back reports Il Corriere dello Sport. The Rossoneri want to renew his contract (current contract until 2020) but could be forced to sacrifice him due to their financial problems. The future of the club and president Yonghong Li is in great doubt and Europa League ban would worsen the situation.

Alessio Romagnoli joined the Red and Blacks in 2015 for 25 million euros from Roma. Even since he has been a regular starter for AC Milan and has collected over 100 appearances in his three seasons at San Siro.
