Juventus propose Demiral swap deal

AC Milan are reportedly negotiating the signing of Juventus defender Merih Demiral. The Bianconeri are interested in a swap deal.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – With very few days remaining until the end of the summer market, Serie A clubs are trying to complete their transfer business before 2 September.

Both AC Milan and Juventus are very active for similar reasons. Milan are trying to sell players in order to fund a move for striker Angel Correa while Juve have not yet abandoned the idea of singing Icardi. Now both clubs are negotiating a possible transfer of Merih Demiral to the Rossoneri.

Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Milan have resumed talks for for the Turkish defender. Juventus have blocked the sale of Rugani to Roma and could sacrifice the former Sassuolo centre back instead.

Juventus value Demiral at €35 million, a figure that Milan will never spend considering their insistence for Correa. However, according to Sportmediaset, the Bianconeri have made a counteroffer.

Juventus will gladly offer Demiral to Milan in exchange for Suso. A swap deal that economically would be very profitable for both clubs. Coach Marco Giampaolo has worked a lot with Suso during these months but no progress on his contract renewal, and the failed experiment as trequartista, have left his future in constant doubt.
