Allegri is looking at 3 players to replace Reijnders

AC Milan new coach Massimiliano Allegri is looking at three players to replace Tijjani Reijnders who is set to join Manchester City.
A new era is beginning at AC Milan. Igli Tare is the new sporting director of the club and his first move was to appoint Massimiliano Allegri as the man in charge of the squad. Tare and Allegri will be the two main figures that will try to bring Milan back to its glory days. The Rossoneri have promised the Italian coach an important transfer campaign. Tare and Allegri will have over €100 million to spend in order to strengthen the squad but part of that fee will be covered by the painful sale of Tijjani Reijnders.
AC Milan and Manchester City are negotiating the transfer of the Dutch international and it is considered just a matter of time before Reijnders joins Pep Guardiola’s club in what will become the most expensive player exit in the history of the Rossoneri, even eclipsing that of Kaka to Real Madrid. Samuele Ricci is expected to be AC Milan’s first summer signing but not exactly the replacement of Tijjani Reijnders because the two have different styles of play.
Journalist Carlo Pellegatti reports that Massimiliano Allegri is looking at 3 players whom he considers as ideal substitutes for Reijnders. The dream of Massimiliano Allegri is Atalanta ace Ederson. The 25-year-old Brazilian midfielder is a perfect blend of quantity and quality. The good news is that Atalanta are open to negotiate the transfer of Ederson as the player’s contract expires in two years. The Bergamo club have place a €50 million price tag for Ederson. The bad news is that Manchester United have Ederson as a top target as well. The potential arrival of Ederson would be a marque signings from AC Milan demonstrating their intent to keep investing despite Reijnders exit.
The first alternative is Matteo Guendouzi. A player that Igli Tare knows perfectly well as it was the Albanian director who signed him from Marseille. The 26-year-old dynamics midfielder is significantly less expensive than Ederson. Matteo Guendouzi has a market value of around €30 million and a contract with Lazio lasting until 2028. Guendouzi is a French national team player and a department colleague of Youssouf Fofana.
A player that Allegri would love to have back under his orders is Adrien Rabiot according to Pellegatti. Another French midfielder but with much more experience and personality than Guendouzi. Adrien Rabiot is quite familiar with Serie A having spent five seasons at Juventus. He was a key player for Allegri during those years and had a great first season in France with Marseille. Rabiot contributed with 10 goals and 6 assists in 31 appearances across all competitions.
