Bologna 2-4 AC Milan, player ratings

AC Milan secure a very important win against a difficult side like Bologna. The Rossoneri score four goals in a spectacular match.

After a slightly subdued start, AC Milan managed to find an early advantage. At the 16th minute Zlatan Ibrahimovic gives a great assist for Rafael Leao who finds the back of the net. At the 20th minute, Krunic is fouled by Soumaoro who received a straight red card. Minutes later Davide Calabria doubles AC Milan’s advantage after a rebound.

In the beginning of the second half, the Rossoneri suffer a ten minutes blackout. First an unfortunate own goal from Ibrahimovic and then three minutes later Barrow equalizes the match. Bologna’s two quick goals were immediately followed by a red card for Soriano who fouled Ballo Toure.

AC Milan managed to take the lead again first with a superb goal from Ismael Bennacer in the 84th minute. Ibrahimovic redeems himself and scores the last goal of the match securing a very important win for the Rossoneri.

Without a doubt, Ismael Bennacer was the man of the match. The Algerian maestro was instrumental in AC Milan’s win. Ibrahimovic was decisive in attack while Davide Calabria contributed in defence as much as in attack.
