MN: AC Milan have chosen Kessie’s successor

AC Milan have chosen Marseille star Boubacar Kamara to take Franck Kessie’s place if the Ivorian doesn’t renew his contract.

Everything revolves around Franck Kessie’s contract renewal. The Ivorian midfielder becomes a free agent in June and there are currently no major steps forward regarding the extension. If something doesn’t change until December, the Rossoneri will begin to plan for life after Kessie.

Maldini and Massara have already chosen the ideal player to substitute Kessie. If he leaves, AC Milan will try everything to sign Boubacar Kamara reports MilanNews.it. The 21-year-old star of Marseille becomes a free agent at the end of the season after continuously refusing to sign a new contract with the French club.

Marseille and AC Milan were in negotiations during the summer but the Rossoneri refused to pay 20 million euros for a player they could sign for free in one year. Aside for his contract situation, Kamara is in fact the most valuable player of Marseille with a market value of 37 million euros according to transfermarkt.

Despite his young age, Boubacar Kamara has already made more than 120 appearances with Marseille. Kamara made his professional debut on December 2016 and has practically been a regular starter for the French club ever since.

The problem in these cases, when a player becomes a free agent, is the interest of rich clubs from England who are ready to offer the French midfielder more money. Nevertheless, AC Milan remain in pole position for Kamara after having already agreed personal terms during the summer.
