New Pirlo agent: “Milan, an ideal solution”
AC Milan is already looking for the successor of Lucas Biglia. Sandro Tonali, nicknamed the new Andrea Pirlo, is being considered by Leonardo.
Leandro Paredes of Zenit St. Petersburg is considered as AC Milan’s main target for January. The Argentine midfielder has a price tag of around 30 million euros but it is destined to rise. Just as it is destined to rise that of Sandro Tonali, another interesting profile in the orbit of the Rossoneri management. The young midfielder made his breakthrough with Brescia last season and at European Under-19 championship with Italy. With his performances and talent Tonali has drawn comparison to Andrea Pirlo, even for physical similarities.
Interviewed by Calciomercato, agent Roberto La Florio, (he also brought Stephan El Sharrawy to Milan), spoke about the highly rated defensive midfielder and his future: “Imagine that against Spezia there was Gregucci to see him on behalf of Roberto Mancini for the national team, there was also Inter, Juventus and even Napoli“, revealed the agent of Sandro Tonali. “Despite the pressure, Tonali made an extraordinary performance. This guy improves from match to match“. Recently there was talk of Bologna interested in him, but: “I know that there has been talks about Bologna, but for now it is not a viable track“.
La Florio explains the story of the boy, who found himself at Brescia a bit by chance: “Fiorentina, Milan and Inter wanted him. All promised a trial for weeks and weeks, but without scheduling one. Brescia instead tested him in 24 hours and immediately signed him after his trail“. And on a possible transfer to AC Milan, the agent reveals: “Milan can be an ideal solution, certainly. In a club like Milan he could find his place. Among other things, Sandro is also a Milan fan. I am convinced that even in a top club he could adapt in a few months and would conquer everyone. However we need to find the right moment to convince (Brescia president) Cellino“.
Despite the very young age (born in 2000) Sandro Tonali already has a very high economic evaluation. “We’ll see. I would say 15-17 million, perhaps up to 20 to convince Cellino but it’s Brescia who decides the price tag“, concluded the agent. A considerable price tag for a 18 year old player that still has a lot to prove. The Rossoneri and Leonardo are not reluctant to bet on promising youngsters and Tonali can be the right man to give continuity to this project.
