Chinese clubs have returned on the transfer market hungrier than ever willing to spend big in order to land one of AC Milan’s biggest stars.
China tries to lure Franck Yannick Kessie. According to reports by Tuttomercatoweb, Chinese Super League club Beijing Guoan, the most important team of the capital and currently third in the standings, has made a shocking offer for the 21 year old Ivory Coast international.
The Chinese have entered in talks with the entourage of the central midfielder and have offered Kessie a salary of 14 million euros (net) per season. AC Milan have not yet put a price tag on the player, partly because Franck Kessie was signed on a two-year loan and therefore his move will become official only at the end of this season. If Kessie accepts their proposal Beijing Guoan are ready to bid at least 40 million euros for his services.
The player would like to continue his adventure in the Rossoneri club and feels well at San Siro but the club does not seem intended, at least for the moment, to review the contract of the former Atalanta. The player has asked for a new improved agreement while Leonardo has stated that such a discussion can be held only at the end of the season.
In the background there is also Paris Saint-Germain. The French champions are “frozen” due to the limitations imposed by the Financial Fair Play and can not move on the market with the usual ease. For now, the rich Qatar backed club remains out of sight, even if for some time they have expressed their appreciation towards Kessie.
