Di Marzio: Transfer updates on Chiesa

Fiorentina are open to sell Federico Chiesa this summer. AC Milan would like to bring the player at San Siro under certain conditions.

AC Milan continue the pressure for Federico Chiesa. According to reports from Sky Sport, Fiorentina have informed the Rossoneri that they are open to sale their prized gem. The words of Fiorentina president also confirm the news.

Interviewed by Novantesimo Minuto (via MilanNews.it), president Rocco Commisso commented on the future of Federico Chiesa: “Like I have already said, if the right offer arrives, he will be sold. We have had offers from abroad, but nothing concrete. Chiesa wants to stay in Italy“.

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio provided further details from the Chiesa saga. “Juventus were ready to close for the player, they already had an agreement with Chiesa and his father. The problem is that the figure that Fiorentina are asking for, no one has not even come close. Many clubs want the player on loan with obligation to buy but Fiorentina wants an almost immediate payment with guaranteed money without technical counterparts“.

A very complicated goal for AC Milan but the Rossoneri are not giving up on the Fiorentina’s winger. The fact that the Viola president Commisso is well disposed to the sale is positive for the Rossoneri, but the conditions must change radically for a positive conclusion to be reached.

The Italian winger has a contract until 2022. Federico Chiesa has rejected every renewal offer from Fioretnina so far, determined to find a new club as soon as possible.
