Journalist claims AC Milan have booked the right winger

Journalist Carlo Pellegatti reports that AC Milan have chosen Samuel Castillejo’s replacement if he moves to Getafe.

AC Milan are all in for Romain Faivre. The Rossoneri have chosen the 23-year-old French attacking midfielder to replace Hakan Calhanoglu. AC Milan have agreed a five-year contract with Faivre and Maldini is negotiating with Brest to reach an agreement. All the parties are optimistic that a move to Serie A is just a matter of time.

At the same time Milan have completed the return of Bakayoko for a second spell. The situation regarding the right winger is a bit complex. What is sure is that Porto’s Jesus Corona will not join AC Milan this summer.

Journalist Carlo Pellegatti reports that the Rossoneri have a clear plan for the winger conundrum. Samuel Castillejo remains a priority target for Getafe. With the sale of Marc Cucurella to Brighton for 18 million, the Spanish club will have fresh funds available to purchase Castillejo and Milan have already booked his substitute.

AC Milan’s last summer signing will very likely be Junior Messias according to Pellegatti. The Brazilian was a revelation last season with Crotone scoring 9 goals and assisting 4 in 36 appearances. Crotone failed to stay in Serie A and their star player is looking to find a new club.

Crotone are currently asking 10 million euros for Junior Messias but the player is 30-year-old so a discount is expected. Messias has played his entire career in Italy so he’s someone already familiar with the local football. Nevertheless, he’s seen by the management as a temporary solution until the club has the necessary funds for a top level singing.
