Manchester City are speeding up talks with AC Milan to try to find an agreement for the transfer of Tijjani Reijnders to England.

Coach Pep Guardiola considers the 26-year-old star as the perfect player for his midfield and has made Reijnders one of the main transfer priorities for Manchester City this summer. There is a real risk that the Dutch international changes club at the end of the season.
According to the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, the English club are already in contacts with both AC Milan and the player and will accelerate talks in the coming weeks. The Dutch midfielder recently extended his contract with the Rossoneri until 2030. The price tag of €70 million would make Reijders the most expensive player departure in AC Milan history eclipsing that of Kaka who joined Real Madrid in 2009.
