Tomorrow AC Milan face Inter in the first derby of the season in what is expected to be a spectacular match. Andre Silva makes his predictions.
Andre Silva will be among the many stars expected to decide the outcome of Inter-Milan derby, to be played tomorrow at San Siro. Surprises excluded, the Portuguese centre forward will guide the attack alongside Suso.
The rossoneri number 9 was interviewed today by Sky Sport and made a quick bet about tomorrow’s match: “We win 2-0“. And about the derby itself Andre Silva has expressed his awareness about the importance of such a match: “I immediately felt that it was a special match throughout Milano because it is a game very much felt. Till now they have done better than us, but we hope to be able to beat them to give joy to all Milan fans. We will enter the field to give our best and win.“
The former jewel of Porto obviously wants to play from the first minute, to score and win the derby: “I dream of playing from the first minute. I want to play, I want to score, I want to help the team and reach our goals. I hope my goals help the team win.”
Andre Silva has received some criticism in recent months and Vincenzo Montella himself has repeatedly stressed that he must become more practical, like Filippo Inzaghi. In this regard, the Portuguese player commented: “I agree with all the critics made, especially when they are constructive. They help me to give my best and to improve. I accept them and I want to prove to Montella that I can become as he says. If he says now that I’m not yet like Inzaghi, I hope that in the end he’ll say I’m on the right track. He is a great coach, I already knew him and I knew what he had done as a player and that’s why he can teach me a lot.”
