Milan vs Juventus, probable lineups
AC Milan in search of confirmations after the important victory against Chievo Verona: in San Siro arrives Juventus, coming from two wins after the false step with Lazio.
Vincenzo Montella’s Milan managed to find victory in Verona after 4 consecutive disappointing results but is immediately called to the toughest challenge against Allegri’s Juventus. The Bianconeri come from two big wins and can not fail if they want to continue to chase Napoli and Inter.
The rossoneri coach must still manage through without the suspended Leonardo Bonucci, Zapata should take his place in the defensive trio next to Alessio Romagnoli while Ricardo Rodriguez is again proposed as centre back. After the serious clash with Gobbi, Calabria is forced to say at least one week out and Ignazio Abate will start on the right. The Italian defender returns to play a match from the first minute after a long period out. Fabio Borini starts on the left.
In the middle Franck Kessie is sure to start from the first minute while Lucas Biglia’s situation is a bit more ambiguous. He is expected to start alongside Kessie but if the coach feels in doubt over his physical state Montolivo and Locatelli are ready to replace him in the middle.
Up front, after the convincing performance in Verona, Montella aims to confirm the same attacking trio. Suso and Calhanoglu, both on the scoresheet against Chievo, in support of Nikola Kalinic.
