After Hernandez, Milan open talks with two other Real Madrid players

AC Milan have completed the signing of Theo Hernandez but he is not the only Real Madrid player the Rossoneri want to bring at San Siro.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – After Rade Krunic, Theo Hernandez becomes AC Milan’s second summer signing. The Rossoneri have paid 20 million euros for his services and the player is currently undergoing medical tests before signing a five-year contract with Milan. However, the transfer of Hernandez served to open talks with two other Real Madrid players.

AS and Marca confirm that AC Milan remain interested in Dani Ceballos. The Spanish midfielder will leave Real Madrid this summer but interest in him is high with several clubs ready to offer important figures for his services.

According to Marca, English trio Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool are in advantage for Ceballos. One problem that complicates Ceballo’s purchase is Madrid’s insistence to have a buy-back option. Something that the Rossoneri have refused but Arsenal could accept.

The second Blancos player AC Milan are interested is Mariano Diaz. The 25-year-old striker last season inherited Cristiano Ronaldo’s number 7 but his statistics were less than extraordinary. Only 4 goals in 22 appearances. Diaz returned to Real after a breakthrough season with Lyon. Just like Ceballos he is among the players that coach Zidane has put on the market.

While more than 40 million euros will be needed to convince Real to sell Ceballos, Mariano Diaz is available for nearly half that fee. In this case the Rossoneri could also discuss a loan move.
