Milan offer sporting director job to Atletico Madrid man
AC Milan ownership have decided to part ways with Massimiliano Mirabelli at the end of the season and are already looking for alternatives.
The Chinese owners of AC Milan have lost faith on Massimiliano Mirabelli and are looking for a new sports director. The Italian has been under fire the disappointing performances of the team this season and of the way he spent nearly 250 million euros last summer. The Chinese and Elliot have lost patience with Mirabelli and are demanding immediate results from the squad.
In the meanwhile the Rossoneri have offered the job to Andrea Berta. Atletico Madrid’s sports director has gained a lot of praise for bringing lots of talent in Spain over the past few years. However, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Berta has rejected AC Milan’s proposal despite a recent secret meeting between the parties. It’s unclear what the reasons behind his rejection are.
