CorSera: The truth about a possible Suso-Callejon exchange
AC Milan continue their search for new winger and Jose Maria Callejon of Napoli is the latest name to be linked with the Rossoneri in a possible exchange with Suso.
The name of Jose Maria Callejon has emerged as the new alternative for the Rossoneri. AC Milan are a search of a new low-cost winger and the Spanish 31 year old together with Matteo Politano of Sassuolo (read here) are high on Mirabelli’s wish-list. Recently several rumors have suggested a possible exchange between Callejon and Suso, who is specific request of coach Maurizio Sarri.
However, according to today’s edition of Corriere della Sera, these rumors are not quite true. Although sports director Massimiliano Mirabelli has a high consideration for Jose Callejon he has no intention to include Suso in negotiations with Napoli. Further more Suso has a release clause of 38 million euros while Callejon’s price tag is around 25 and he’s 31 years old.
