7 Most likely names to replace Gattuso as Milan coach

The recent string of negative results could mark Gennaro Gattuso’s end as AC Milan coach. Seven names are reportedly being considered to replace Gattuso.

GIAN PIERO GASPERINI

Even though Mauricio Pochettino is Gazidis’ number one pick, the Tottenham coach is out of reach for AC Milan. The Argentine coach has reached the Champions League semi-finals and wants to continue in England.

Well, according to Gazidis, the second best choice is Gian Piero Gasperini. The Atalanta coach has done miracles with the Bergamo club reaching the final of Coppa Italia and is in the battle for a place in Champions League.

Gasperini is famous in Italy for his great work with young players. Conti and Kessie are two of his finest revelations and a young team like AC Milan could use a coach of this nature.

The only negative aspect is his lack of experience at top level. When he was appointed coach of Inter in 2011, Gian Piero Gasperini was sacked before the end of the season.
