OFFICIAL – AC Milan complete signing of winger

AC Milan have signed 27 year old winger Fabio Borini on permanent basis. The Italian joined last summer on loan and now he is officially a Rossoneri player.

It was Massimiliano Mirabelli who pushed for Borini’s purchase, managing to snatch him from Lazio’s competition. The agreement with Sunderland was easy to find. An operation of around 6 million euros, between loan and obligation to buy. Initially there were many doubts by the fans about this transfer but the player managed to prove his doubters wrong on the pitch.

Today Sunderland announced that Borini from 1 July will be officially an AC Milan player. No surprise here given his loan deal anticipated such a move at the end of this season. The management of the Black Cats, who will play in Championship in 2018/2019, wanted to publicly confirm the deal. The Rossoneri club exercise the obligation to sign the Italian who will remain at Milanello.

There are many rumors that claim Fabio Borini may leave this summer but the feeling is that eventually the player will remain despite interest from other clubs. Gennaro Gattuso appreciates his flexibility and his spirit of sacrifice on the pitch. Unless special offers arrive, or Fabio himself demands to leave, the marriage will continue.
