Real Madrid vs AC Milan, probable lineups

AC Milan will face Real Madrid tomorrow in a prestigious match that recalls glorious meetings from the past.

Tomorrow AC Milan will face Real Madrid in a friendly match that will be staged at the Worthersee Stadion in Klagenfurt at 18:30 CET. Real Madrid vs Milan is a very special and important match for several reasons: the Rossoneri will face a high level opponent, certainly the strongest of this pre-season, and will be pleased to find Carlo Ancelotti again. The Italian coach, a true AC Milan legend, sits on the Los Blancos bench.

GIROUD FROM THE START – Olivier Giroud will make his first minute debut in Real Madrid vs Milan. The French striker played in the second half against both Nice and Valencia. Behind him there will be Brahim Diaz, a former Real Madrid who has joined Milan on loan for two years. Rafael Leao on the left and Alexis Saelemaekers will complete the attack.

DOUBTS IN THE MIDDLE – With Bennacer still out because of Covid and Franck Kessie not yet back to work after his commitments with the Ivory Coast, there are three players competing for two starting places. Sandro Tonali, always deployed from the beginning in this pre-season, will be in the starting 11 also tomorrow. The remaining spot is discussed between Tommaso Pobega and Rade Krunic with the Bosnia international in advantage.

MAIGNAN IS THERE – Since his arrival at Milanello Mike Maignan has made himself totally available to the staff, impressing with his work on and off the pitch. The French goalkeeper is already starting to communicate in Italian with his teammates and is entering into full harmony with the group. Tomorrow he will start the first minute, in front of him the classic 4-man line up with Calabria, Tomori, Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez.

AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Krunic (Pobega); Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao; Giroud.
