Repubblica: Hong Kong group wants Milan

Although Elliot is now the new owner of AC Milan the Americans do no have a long-term project for the club and hope to sell after one year.

Today’s edition of La Repubblica reports Rossoneri-related news from Asia that a Hong Kong financial group in cooperation with an entrepreneur from Macau, who owns a chain of casinos, would be interested in buying AC Milan club, passed in recent days under the control of Elliott.

The American fund took over after former president Yonghong Li failed to repay 32 million euros. Apparently Elliot are aiming to keep the club for at least one year in order to sell at a better price later.

Also Rocco B. Comisso, the Ricketts family and Stephen Ross remain interested in the club but at this point any negotiations for a majority package must be pushed for next year.
