Milan vs Sassuolo, probable lineups

AC Milan host Sassuolo today at 20:45 and the Rossoneri need to bounce back today with a win to keep their Champions League hopes up.

A probable change is the inclusion of Riccardo Montolivo as central midfielder instead of Giacomo Bonaventura. In the last two appearances Jack has been less bright than usual but he remains favorite of the former captain. The former Rossonero captain started from the first minute in the derby against Inter because Lucas Biglia. Against Sassuolo the Argentine will resume his place in the control room. The midfield department will be completed by the irreplaceable Franck Kessie.

There should only one change in defense. Ricardo Rodriguez with Abate as full backs, coach Gattuso wants to rest Calabria so he can fully recover after some muscular problems lately while Bonucci-Romagnoli compose the central pair. In attack, coach Gattuso is expected to rely again on Jesus Suso (Fabio Borini could be the surprise) on the right with in form Hakan Calhanoglu on the left. Everything is open for the position of the centre forward Andre Silva slightly behind Patrick Cutrone, no chance for Nikola Kalinic.

AC MILAN (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Abate, Bonucci, Romagnoli, Rodriguez; Kessie, Biglia, Bonaventura; Suso, Cutrone (Andre Silva), Calhanoglu.

SASSUOLO (3-5-2): Consigli; Dell’Orco, Acerbi, Peluso; Lirola, Mazzitelli, Sensi, Peluso, Rogerio; Babacar, Politano
