Sky – From Montella to Gattuso: here’s how much the Rossoneri have improved

Sky Sport has made a short comparison between the squad coach by Montella and the one by Gattuso and the change is dramatic, to say the least.

The absence of three points in the derby against Inter makes it even more difficult to reach the fourth place and secure Champions League qualification, however, the Rossoneri have no intention of giving up and will try until the end.

The Diavolo believes and it is only thanks to the arrival of Gennaro Gattuso on the bench. With him the team experienced an incredible gear change, the first few games apart. Technical and tactical growth yes, but above all physical. AC Milan in recent months are a completely different team from the one coached by Vincenzo Montella. Sky Sport compiled a comparison between the management of the two Rossoneri coaches this season and the differences are striking.

The first interesting statistic regards the average points per game: 1.42 in the first 14 league games, 1.92 in the following 16 with Rino on the bench (31 points against the 20 of Montella). The average number of goals conceded is also important: from 1.28 to 1.06 goals per game. For goals scored: 1.35 with the former coach, 1.43 with Gattuso. Finally the difference points from the fourth place: 12 in the previous management against the current 8. Remarkable improvement of AC Milan with Gennaro Gattuso on the bench.
