The 3 summer transfer priorities of AC Milan

AC Milan will make three important signings this summer with the attack being their primary focus.

The Rossoneri are preparing important moves for the upcoming season. AC Milan will go ahead with the construction of a new stadium under their full ownership and not in collaboration with Inter. At the same time, the club is also working on the transfer market to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season.

Journalist Carlo Pellegatti reports that AC Milan will have three transfer priorities this summer starting from the midfield. Aster Vranckx will be shipped back to Wolfsburg with AC Milan not intentioned to pay €10 million in order to make his transfer permanent. The Rossoneri plan to sign a new central midfielder of similar characteristics to Ismael Bennacer. The midfielder must be someone ready to make the difference immediately in Serie A.

Next, Milan will be focused in attack. The right winger position has been a priority for a very long time. Both Junior Messias and Alexis Saelemaekers do not provide the necessary number of goals that a team fighting for Serie A and Champions requires. An important name is expected to join Stefano Pioli’s squad this summer with a number of targets of Maldini’s notebook.

The second big investment will be for a new centre forward. Olivier Giroud has held the weight of the attack on his shoulders for the entire year with Ibrahimovic always out and Origi not living up to expectations. The two top targets of AC Milan for the striker position are Randal Kolo Muani and Rasmus Hojlund.

Both players have a market value of around €40-50 million. Kolo Muani was very close to AC Milan last summer and Maldini has not lost sight on him. The 20-year-old Hojlund has been the big suprise in Serie A this season. The Denmark striker, often compared to Haaland for their similar playing style, is already familiar with the Italian league and seems ready for the next stage.
