SM: Donnarumma sale to help AC Milan fund move for Croatian duo

Boban wants to bring at AC Milan Dejan Lovren and Andrej Kramaric. The signing of the Croatian duo could be funded by the sale of Donnarumma, claims SportMediaset.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – Now that AC Milan’s management team has been completed, with Massara and Giampaolo to be announced soon as sporting director and coach respectively, the Rossoneri are fully concentrated on the transfer market.

Participation in Europa League this season will play an important role in AC Milan’s transfer business. If the Rossoneri reach an agreement with UEFA, as reported, and be auto-excluded for one year, then the squad will need some signings less. That’s the reason why AC Milan have not completed any transfer so far, except Rade Krunic.

According to SportMediaset, Zvonimir Boban wants to bring at AC Milan two Croatian stars. Dejan Lovren and Andrej Kramaric could bring some valid experience to a team full of young players. The duo would cost €50 million euros and a move could be funded by the sale of Gigio Donnarumma. PSG sporting director Leonardo is a big fan of the Italian goalkeeper and is expected to make a bid of around 60 million offering Gigio a contract of 8 million per season.

After four years as an undisputed starter at Anfield, Dejan Lovren relegated to second choice this season with Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp often preferring Matip and Joe Gomez. Liverpool have put the 29-year-old centre back on the market for 20 million euros. AC Milan view Lovren as an experienced player that could contribute more that Musacchio. The permanence of the Argentine defender is also in doubt.

Kramaric on the other hand would be an important signing in attack. The 28-year-old striker has been one of the stars of Bundesliga for the last three seasons. The centre forward of Hoffenheim scored 17 league goals this year plus 5 goals in 6 Champions League games. A proven goalscorer that can help improve AC Milan’s attacking unit.
