TS: PSG make €40m offer for AC Milan star

Paris Saint-Germain continue to be interested in AC Milan left-back Theo Hernandez. The French club has tabled a €40 million bid.

After Archaf Hakimi, PSG are still looking in Italy to reinforce their defence. This time the target is not an Inter player but Theo Hernandez. The rich Ligue 1 club have never hidden their admiration for the 23-year-old Rossoneri left-back.

Tuttosport reports that Paris Saint-Germain have recently made an offer of 40 million euros for Theo Hernandez. AC Milan have rejected the bid insisting that Theo is not for sale.

AC Milan have no intention of giving up on Theo, a fundamental player in achieving Champions League qualification last season, for two reasons. First of all, the Frenchman is very important in Stefano’s tactical deployment. Secondly, only an offer of €80 million may tempt AC Milan to sell him.

The 23-year-old has been a key player since joining AC Milan in 2019 from Real Madrid for a figure of 20 million euros. Last season he scored 8 goals and assisted another 8 in 45 appearances across all competitions. It is quite unlikely for Hernandez to leave this summer.

After having invested so much in recent weeks, PSG will hardly be able to improve their offer. Meanwhile, the Rossoneri are about to complete the signing of Fode Ballo-Toure. The 24-year-old Monaco left back will be Theo’s back-up for the new season.
