Udinese lower asking price for Milan target

Udinese left winger Rodrigo De Paul will be among the names that AC Milan will try to bring at San Siro in January.

Rodrigo De Paul remains on AC Milan’s orbit. The Argentine left winger is a long time transfer target of the Rossoneri and despite circumstances pushing the club towards other names, in reality, Milan have never stopped following the Udinese star.

According to Calciomercato, AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini has informed the the Argentine’s agent, that he is seriously interested in the 25-year-old former Valencia.

Former sporting director Leonardo was very interested in Rodrigo De Paul and tried to negotiated his signing last January. Now, Maldini intendeds to resumed talks with Udinese when the winter transfer window opens.

Udinese signed the former Valencia in 2016 for ‘just’ €3 million but refused to listen to offers of less than €35 million this summer. Aware that no club will ever match their asking price Udinese have lowered his price tag to €25 million, an affordable figure that will surely attract lots of interest. Last season Rodrigo De Paul made 36 Serie A appearances, scoring 9 goals and assisting 8.

When asked about AC Milan’s interest De Paul replied: “Milan want me? It means that I have worked well and I believe that something will happen later“. The Argentine international seems ready for the big stage.
