WLT confirms talks to buy AC Milan club

World Lab Technologies has announced its interest to purchase AC Milan club from Elliot Management fund.

With an official announcement, lawyers Felice Raimondo, Gianluca Frate and Mauro Gagliardi, owner of the Marriotts Legal Service, have declared that they have received a mandate for advice and assistance from the World Lab Technologies fund, headed by Alexandr Jucov, to negotiate the purchase of AC Milan club.

The law firms managed by the lawyers Felice Raimondo, Gianluca Frate and Dr. Mauro Gagliardi – owner of the Marriotts Legal Service – have received the mandate to manage the consultancy and extrajudicial assistance activity in Italy regarding the possible acquisition of the football club AC Milan Spa by the investment fund World Lab Technologies inc., headed by Mr. Alexandr Jucov.

World Lab Technologies is a fund with a very significant economic capacity that deals with investing in renewable energy, infrastructure, technology and sport. Legal activity outside Italy is entrusted to the firm Baker McKenzie. More details will be provided later, in the event that Mr. Jucov will reach an agreement in principle with the Elliott fund. No further statements will be made by the Raimondo-Frate-Marriotts law firms“.

The interest of World Lab Technologies is not that surprising for AC Milan fans. It was Elliott, from day one, who made it clear that the acquisition of the club would be a project with an end date. The American fund has not set deadlines but it is part of its policy to sell once the company’s accounts have been settled and improved.

In the meantime, Elliott has totally revolutionized Milan, at every level, by investing a lot of money. The American fund relies on an international manager like Ivan Gazidis. The former Arsenal executive, with the full support of the owners, is the one who decides on practically everything.
