Milan vs Juventus, probable lineups

AC Milan face Juventus at San Siro in a crucial match for their title hopes. The Rossoneri will be without seven players tonight.

Tonight, at 20:45, AC Milan play one of the most important matches of the season. The Serie A leaders host champions in-charge Juventus at San Siro with many important players forced to stay out. Ibrahimovic, Gabbia, Bennacer, Saelemaekers and Tonali will miss Milan vs Juventus for suspensions and injuries while Krunic and Rebic have resulted positive to Covid. Morata, Alex Sandro and Cuadrado are absent from the Bianconeri.

Despite the great importance of the match, Stefano Pioli declared yesterday that Milan vs Juventus is not a decisive test. The Italian coach doesn’t want pressure but he is forced to play tonight with a never seen before starting eleven reports La Gazzetta.

The only good news is the return of Theo Hernandez in defence. The French left-back was suspended for one match and returns to take his spot with Diogo Dalot playing on the right instead of Calabria. Simon Kjaer and Alessio Romagnoli partner at the center. The Danish defender is fully fit after a slight problem against Benevento.

Forced change in midfield. Ismael Bennacer remains out because of an injury while Sandro Tolani received a red card and is suspended for this match. Rade Krunic was supposed to play alongside Franck Kessie but he has resulted positive to Covid. For this reason Pioli is thinking of using Davide Calabria as central midfielder.

Another very bad news is the forced absence of Ante Rebic due to Covid. The Croatian has scored less this season but he’s a key player for the squad and especially for his partnership with Theo Hernandez on the left flank. Samu Castillejo has recovered and will play on the right wing with Jens Peter Hauge on the other side. The two, together with Hakan Calhanoglu will be in support of Rafael Leao once again leading the attack.

AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Dalot, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Calabria, Kessie; Castillejo, Calhanoglu, Hauge, Leao.

JUVENTUS (3-4-1-2): Szczesny, Demiral, De Ligt, Bonucci, Chiesa, Mckennie, Bentancur, Danilo, Ramsey, Dybala, Ronaldo.
