35 Million euros treasure available to Milan
The permanent signing of Andre Silva from Sevilla will offer AC Milan extra breathing room on the transfer market with 35 million euros available to Leonardo.
AC Milan sporting director Leonardo may have extra funds available on the January transfer window and that’s thanks to his great intuition to loan Andre Silva to Spain at Sevilla. After a troubling first season in Italy Silva is excelling in Spain.
The Portuguese 23 year old centre forward scored only two goals in Serie A last season while so far he has found the back of the net on 7 occasions. His great form has convinced Sevilla to make his move permanent and the Spanish club have informed AC Milan about their intentions.
Sevilla sporting director Joaquin Caparros confirmed what will happen very soon: “The fans can rest assured, this player will stay with us with a contract for many seasons“. Andre Silva’s loan move cost 3 million euros while in order to sign the youngster Sevilla must pay an additional 35 million euros. The transfer is expected to be closed before the transfer window opens.
It’s sad to see such a promising striker like Silva leave especially because he never had a real chance to show his qualities. Whatever the case AC Milan will recoup their entire investment and that’s thanks to Leonardo’s good business instincts. The entire figure should be invested back on the market and to fulfill AC Milan’s needs Leo must sign at least three players.
