AC Milan about to complete 3 player exits

The AC Milan management has started to work on players exits after having completed many signings until now.

Without a doubt, AC Milan are the most active Italian club on the transfer market. The Rossoneri have practically completed their squad for next season with any minor fixes remaining to be made. Now, Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada have shifted their focus on players exits with 3 transfers close to completion.

The first is that of Matteo Gabbia to Villarreal. AC Milan and the Spanish club have discussed a couple of operations between the two. Samuel Chukwueze is joining the Rossoneri for a total fee of €28 million while Gabbia will move to Villarreal on loan until the end of next season. Both operations are detached from each-other. Villarreal will not have a purchase option on Gabbia.

Another transfer that is expected to be closed within the next 48 hours is the sale of Fode Ballo-Toure to Fulham. The French left back had offers from Bologna and Nice as well but the Premier League will be his next destination. Fulham will pay a fee of €4 million to AC Milan for Ballo-Toure while the player will sign a four-year contract at €2 million per season.

The most difficult job of Furlani and Moncada this summer will be to sell Ante Rebic and Divock Origi. Both players are not part of the project for next season and have been left out of the squad for the USA tournament. The two players are reluctant to leave but something has started to move on Rebic front.

The Croatian has understood that Pioli wants him out as soon as possible and will be given no chance if he decides to stay at Milan. The Rossoneri have already reached an agreement with Besiktas for the transfer of Ante Rebic on loan with the option or obligation to buy. The player is reflecting on this possibility.
