AC Milan anxious for Strinic: all football activities stopped
In an unexpected turn of events AC Milan announced yesterday that Ivan Strinic is suffering from a heart condition and has stopped all football activities.
Many had questioned the need to sign another further left-back after already having in the squad Strinic and Ricardo Rodriguez, writes today Il Corriere della Sera. Unfortunately, the unwanted response came yesterday with an unexpected official statement from AC Milan.
Ivan Strinic suffers from an initial hypertrophy of the heart muscle, basically a thickening of the walls of the heart. The problem, the club said, was found during the six-month routine checks.
