AC Milan comment on Berlusconi’s formation suggestions
Silvio Berlusconi yesterday returned to talk about the Rossoneri club. He focused mainly on the gaming system. He does not believe in the choice of 4-3-3 and prefers a Milan with a trequartista and two strikers.
This morning the club decided not to reply with the former patron. But the club commented with a statement on the issue through their official website acmilan.com: “On the statements of Silvio Berlusconi, we note what is correct to do at a sporting and institutional level. So from Milan there is a soft line towards the intrusion of Berlusconi in the tactical choices of Gattuso. An opinion considered legitimate and that does not deserve a particular reply. After all, these considerations of the former president are certainly not new. For years he repeats that the team must play with the 4-3-1-2, also indicating the players whose role should change.
In his opinion, Giacomo Bonaventura should play as trequartista, while Suso as second striker. Not the best positions for the two. We’ll see if Gattuso for Milan-Atalanta will decide to change something. The hypothesis of a Hakan Calhanoglu behind the Silva-Cutrone duo is a possibility. We need to wait until the next training sessions to understand better. Gattuso could also continue with the old 4-3-3.
