Milan close to signing Morata – The details

Alvaro Morata is the favorite striker to join AC Milan. The rossoneri are close to finding an agreement with the player and his club.

It is not a mystery that AC Milan are looking for another striker to gift manager Vincenzo Montella. The novelty of the last few hours, however, is that Alvaro Morata has returned in pole position over Andrea Belotti and Aubameyang, who in the last few days seemed to be the favorite. In today’s edition, La Gazzetta dello Sport, explains that among the sponsors of the Spanish striker, is the newly signed defender Leonardo Bonucci, former Morata teammate at Juventus and his great friend.

To get to the Real Madrid attacker, the red and blacks are ready to make an important economic effort. The rossoneri are in fact ready to offer the player a contract of 10 million euros per season, a figure that could even be raised and arrive at 12 million euros with bonuses. That is the exact figure demanded by the Spanish 24 year old. As for the negotiations between the two clubs, the agreement appears to be close and should be found on the basis of 70 million euros. A big fee for the Spanish national team centre forward.

To push for Morata’s return in Italy, there is also his wife, Alice, who has never hidden her desire to return in Milano, the city where the two of them met. All this operation will eventually be materialized in the coming days, when AC Milan and its management will return to Italy from the tour in China (read here). Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli have already closed ten signings till now and they have no intention to stop. The duo are ready to complete the most important signing in the transfer market.
