AC Milan in contact with Conte
Elliot’s wave of change at AC Milan could affect even the position of Gennaro Gattuso. The new management is already in contact with Antonio Conte.
Rino Gattuso and Milan: there is a relationship, there is a contract, there have been results. But now the situation can change for many reasons. The first: AC Milan in the last hours has called Antonio Conte, considered the ideal candidate for the bench. Conte has offered his full availability but in order to get freed from Chelsea he needs time. There is an ongoing dispute between the Italian coach, his lawyers and the English side. How much time? At least a couple of months, if things do not change sooner.
But the response of Conte was of absolute availability, even with the clarification of being in a very delicate situation, the one with Chelsea, due to his contract breach. According to reports, AC Milan coach Gennaro Gattuso is aware of everything.
Rino, who was brought to Milan by Mirabelli (now fired), certainly would not accept such a complicated situation, even more so if the club doesn’t have faith in him. At that point only the results could help him, but perhaps they would not be enough when serenity is no longer the same as before. One thing is certain: Milan has already moved for Conte who has asked for time.
