AC Milan want Juventus defender in exchange for Bonucci

AC Milan have already identified Leonardo Bonucci’s replacement in case the captain decides to return to Juventus.

A busy week at Casa Milan. Now that captain Leonardo Bonucci has expressed his desire to leave the management is considering a new signing in defense. According to Sportitalia, the name of Mattia Caldara has emerged in negotiations between the Rossonero club and Juventus. Transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla confirms everything.

AC Milan could sell Leonardo Bonucci and therefore must find a substitute. Difficult to purchase Thiago Silva, who has an excellent relationship with Leonardo but earns a lot in France. PSG would sell the Brazilian star only if they could find a worthy substitute and that’s why they are pushing for the purchase of Bonucci. Negotiations are on hold at the moment with the Italian defender preferring a move to Juventus instead. It was his agent Alessandro Lucci who proposed the 31 year old centre back to Juventus, the Bianconeri are reflecting on it.

For Milan to take a young talented defender like Caldara could be a good move, even if it will be necessary to see if Juventus are open to sell. The Rossoneri are also interested in Gonzalo Higuain another Juventus player but would prefer to keep the two negotiations separated. Like in the case of Higuain, new Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri is also interested in the 24 year old centre back. After a long lethargic period AC Milan has finally started to move on the market.
