AC Milan-Fiorentina, probable lineups

Today, AC Milan play the last games of the season against Fiorentina at San Siro. The Rossoneri need to win in order to secure the 6th place and direct qualification for Europa League.

The Rossoneri end Serie A 2017/18 with a delicate match against a difficult opponent like Fiorentina. The Red and Blacks need to make the same results (or better) as Atalanta in order to secure the 6th place in the standings and play Europa League for next season starting directly in the group stage and avoiding the tiring three preliminary rounds.

The intention of the coach is to confirm the 4-3-3 formation, without doing experiments on which he can get caught unprepared. In defense will play the usual quartet with Davide Calabria and Ricardo Rodriguez as full backs, and Bonucci-Romagnoli as the central duo. Gianluigi Donnarumma obviously in goal.

The rest of the team will be affected by the choices in attack to replace the injured Suso. Certain to play from the first minute in midfield and attack are Franck Kessie and Hakan Calhanoglu. Doubts instead for the role of Bonaventure but he should start again in midfielder with Locatelli completing the trio. Patrick Cutrone will replace Suso up front with Nikola Kalinic as the lone centre forward.

AC MILAN (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Calabria, Bonucci, Romagnoli, Rodriguez; Kessie, Locatelli, Bonaventura; Cutrone, Kalinic, Calhanoglu.

FIORENTINA (4-4-1): Sportiello; Hugo, Pezzella, Milenkovic, Biraghi; Chiesa, Benassi, Cristoforo, Dabo; Saponara; Simeone.
