AC Milan fulfill Giampaolo’s biggest transfer wish

Despite the likely arrival of Angel Correa, AC Milan will not sell Suso. The Rossoneri will please coach Giampaolo and keep the Spanish star

MILAN NEWS – No matter how long it takes or the cost, AC Milan are determined to bring Angel Correa at San Siro. Now that Atletico Madrid have signed Rodrigo from Valencia, the Spanish giants will sell the Argentine striker and are willing to reduce their asking price. However, his purchase will no longer be financed from the sale of Suso.

A very good news for Marco Giampaolo who has put Suso at the center of his project. The new AC Milan coach publicly declared his appreciation for the Spanish winger he has transformed into trequartista. “Suso is top class. He is a strong player and we have to keep the top players. I said this to the club and to him. It’s not an issue. He drives me crazy and he is a player that can be decisive”.

And indeed he is right. In the various friendly games Suso has offered some excellent performances, in particular against Manchester United and Feronikeli (two goals and one assist in total). According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, after having weighed the situation Milan have decided to keep the flamboyant winger and offer him the renewal. No club bid more than €30 million for Suso and AC Milan will not sell their star unless an offer matches his release clause of nearly 40 million. The money for Correa will arrive from the sale of Andre Silva, Diego Laxalt and even Ricardo Rodriguez.

The Rossoneri want to sign Angel Correa from Atletico Madrid and also keep Suso, in order to create an attack of the highest quality. With the two of them, the basic 4-3-1-2 could turn into a 4-3-2-1 during the game, thus also favoring Krzysztof Piatek with a more central position. Without forgetting Rafael Leao, gifted with enormous talent.

The high quality midfield will also give a helping hand in attack with Ismael Bennacer in the control room, Lucas Paqueta on the left side and Franck Kessie or Hakan Calhanoglu on the right. There is no lack of alternatives for coach Giampaolo who can also count on the revived Fabio Borini, new signing Rade Krunic and jolly Giacomo Bonaventura. In short, quality in power, exactly as Giampaolo wants.
